Introduction
1.1 Significant of the research
This
research is focused about the implement of some objectives in MAS Active Linea
Intimo (Pvt) Ltd. By using Quality circle tools, researches try to find what
the benefit are for employees and an organization by using Quality circle tools?
And how is the present situation of the Linea Intimo?
Quality
circle is a small group of employees performing similar work who voluntarily
undertaken to meet regularly to identify, analyze and solve their own work
related problems.
Quality
circles tools are helped to,

Improve quality, productivity &
efficiency

To reduce absenteeism
·
To increase morale, safety, job
satisfaction & contented employees.
·
To improve the quality of work life
·
To improve communication between
management & employees.
Before
use quality circle, they had not to increase quality, waste reduction, reduce
cost, increase productivity, Increase safety, face for Problem solving &
reduce absenteeism etc.
1.2 Need and importance of the study
In
this research has been identified what are the needs and importance of the
study. Most of manufacturing companies basically like to solve problems, increase
self-development, Communication, Productivity & safety, reduce wastage
& cost of factories. So they want to achieve their objectives. Some
companies use quality circle tools and their companies are developed by using
quality circle tools. The result of this method they can take hold new customers
& can hold current customers by increasing of the production.
So
researchers want to know about the present quality circle status of this
company & to identify what methods should be implemented? What methods
should be introduced?
1.3 Back ground of the study
Now
the companies use quality circle methods to increase quality of the productions
& to develop their companies. MAS Active Linea Intimo (Pvt) Ltd introduced
quality circle tools in 2008/09. In the basic stage they had used PDCA to solve
problems. It was the huge process and the system was not interested. Then they
have implemented it. Earlier PDCA system is managed and handled by executives
but now this responsibility has moved to team leaders to solve daily problems
and it has summarized for 5why and Fish bone system. Then it has developed up
to 8 steps and A3 systems.

objectives are put through by using quality circle tools?

The
primary objective of this research is to identify the objectives that achieve
by using quality tools. In MAS Active Linea Intimo (Pvt) Ltd. It is further
divided into following sub objectives.
1. To
study the impact of quality on Quality circle tools.
2. To
study the impact of Communication on Quality circle tools.
3. To
study the impact of waste reduction on Quality circle tools.
4. To
study the impact of productivity on Quality circle tools.
5. To
study the impact of problem solving on Quality circle tools.
2. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
2.1 Research Design
This
qualitative study is aimed at identifying the factors (objectives) that achieve
by quality circle tools in MAS Active Linea Intimo (Pvt) Ltd. The idea behind
this research is to study the impact on one variable (Independent) on the other
(Dependent) variables under the classification of the research design, this
research is belongs to descriptive design.
2.2 Population
All
manufacturing Companies in Sri Lankan Apparel industry.
2.3 Sample
Out
of above population, researchers willing to select MAS Active Linea Intimo
(Pvt) Ltd and meet & get information
by 50 quality circle members at MAS Active Linea Intimo1.
2.4 Data collection methods
For
this study researchers expect to use primary data source which are available
and can easily access for that data.

Relevant information are collected from a
questioner.(Short time Interviews)

Direct Observation.
·
Relevant information are collected by
participating quality circle meeting.
2.5 The methods are used for data
analysis
To
achieve research objectives, data are analyzed by using SPSS. The hypothesis
are tested by using correlation, coefficient, regression, reliability &
also descriptive statistics used to describe and summarize the behavior of the
respondent in the study. In data presentation graphs, charts and tables have been
used for the purpose of meaningful presentation.
